About Me

Current Research

I am pursuing my Master's of Science at the University of Michigan in the department of Biostatistics. My current research focuses on neurological and mental health complications for patients with diabetes.

Concurrent Interests

Outside my healthcare focused research, I am interested in the historical context and consequences of social constructions such as race, gender, and sexuality. I am independently studying historical sociology in the United States and I hope to apply my statistical skills toward research-backed equitable policy.

Beyond the math and stats...

I am avid reader and collector of 17-20th century literature. You can also find me trying out a new crochet pattern, practicing my flute, or trying to teach myself piano. The latest addition to my hobbies is learning Japanese.
